Private Training

Private Training at Jon Weller is all about specific programming, motivation and development. After a clients initial consultation and analysis, one of our Private Training Specialists will methodically progress you through the following weeks and months to obtain the results and goals discussed and agreed on. Designed to be progressive and challenging, the plan will take you through all facets of fitness development, making sure that you are not just leaner, but also stronger, more flexible, more stable and agile. A tailored plan outside of sessions will be implemented with clients educated on lifestyle changes and how to create habits for maximizing their wellness.

All our trainers have University Degrees in exercise and are constantly striving to improve their client experience. 

Sports Specific

Clients who require specific training for their specialist sport will be taking through a prescribed training regime. Clients will be trained through a periodized training regime with emphasis on pre season requirements, technical improvements and pre and post competition nutrition and recovery. We currently specialize in AFL, football, tennis, rowing and golf.

Rehabilitation

We have close relationships with a set number of private practitioners and work closely with them to achieve the optimal recovery for those who require a rehabilitation program. Training is planned in detail over the weeks, months and quarters to achieve the set targets discussed with the client and 100% recovery.  Whether you suffer from shoulder problems, knee issues or back pain we have a close knit team of experienced professionals to progress you to a pain free, full functioning body.

Semi Private Training

For a little more than a gym membership you can recieve specialist training, analysis and monthly tracking in a private environment. 

After a initial consultation and analysis you will be guided into a semi private training schedule which fits with your goals, fitness levels and schedule. Each client is progressed at their own specific level whether they are just starting out or a conditioned performer. Clients are given education on lifestyle,nutrition and are tracked monthly to assess progression. There is now a great alternative to that monotonous gym program which is not getting you the results you desire. We are adding new class times frequently; if you don't see the time you prefer let us know, and we will endeavour to set up a class.

Program Design

Following a specific program of training is vital for your ongoing progression and enjoyment. At Jon Weller we take your whole week and lifestyle into account and design a program based around the environment you will be working in, equipment available,time available and other activities you are involved in. Your programs will be designed over 6 week periods with a progressive program developed for each new training block. Your progress will be analysed and assesed at the end of each training block to maximise performance and keep you achieving and creating new benchmarks.

Nutrition Programs

You will be asked to complete a seven day food diary in detail, after which we will book you in for a nutrition consultation. Your session will be an opportunity to discover more about the positive and negative aspects of your diet, and to be guided through a process of dietary change. Whether your goal is weight gain, weight loss, or weight maintenance, or if you just want to feel more energized and improve digestion, we will guide you through the changes that you may require. You will be recommended to book in for follow up consultations on a fortnightly/monthly basis whilst you are initiating dietary change to allow yourself to maximize the benefits of your adjustments.

Membership

Clients can join the studio on a month to month membership between the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday. Clients receive a consultation, fitness testing and an initial program with a new program designed every 6 weeks to maintain progression. Clients are trained in the latest methods of training with no machine based programs written.
